Why do astronauts float, and could I play football on the Moon?

Great question — astronauts float because they and their spacecraft are falling around Earth together. That is called microgravity.

On the Moon you could play football, but each jump would last much longer because the Moon's gravity is about one-sixth of Earth's.

A note from the founder

“I built Yamess for my son, James.”

When my son started exploring AI, I realised there was no space designed for children to learn with AI safely with parents involved, not locked out. Everything was either built for adults or dressed up as educational but lacking real safety.

Yamess is my answer. It is a place where children can ask questions, think critically, and build AI literacy where parents stay at the centre of the experience, not on the outside.
